>I just found MS KnowledgeBase article Q214560, and it says that when you install the MSDN library (which I did), it messes up the VFP help setup. The article's proposed solution is just what you said. Think I'll fool around with this tomorrow morning when I'm more alert and in a better mood.
I'm having same problem. The Help file pointer is correct, pointing to the MSDN foxhelp.chm, but the vfp6 help does not work correctly. It does the following:
1) On menu, click Help Topics ,and opens to MSDN home page - I guess that's fine.
2) Click Contents, hard drive rumbles a little, but nothing opens.
3) Click Index, nothing happens.
4) Click Search, and opens to MSDN home page, but minimized - not too useful.
5) F1 (context) works usually, but not always, sometimes just opens MSDN home page...
Looking for fix myself, too :)
