Mr. Fournier,

I hope you won't mind a question from a neophyte too much, but I am in distress!

I am new to VFP programming and have been trying to develop a small application while learning the program. I've obtained several good manuals which have helped tremendously. But I was wondering if you have heard of any problems w/VFP 5.0 because it seems to me that it crashes way too frequently. For example, if I as much as misspell an object reference or attempt to load 2 small formsets simultaneously it just crashes without any explanation (the program says it has committed an illegal instruction and shuts down) rather than indicating the problem via the debugger. I've had to restart VFP an inordinate amount of times as a result of this. Am I doing something wrong or is this program really buggy? I'm considering switching to another software package such as Power Builder.
