I could setup a seperate form for prompting the search field (maybe this is what i should do). However, I'm using in the current form that is normally READONLY and used to display the key value. When the "FIND" button is pressed, this field is changed to READONLY = .F. and the normal button group is made so that it is NOT visiable at this time. It is the default cancel button in this invisiable button group that giving me a problem.
