I wouldn't quite put it that way. A VB - SQL - NT solution is simply more lucrative to MSFT than a VFP - NT solution. I can understand and fully expect sales and consulting pushing such a solution. From a strictly money standpoint (and that's MSFTsales, or any sales organization cares about), it makes total sense.
