eView is designed not to alert the user when saving a view in this state. When I double checked it's functionality though, I found that another change I had made at one point was causing the check to be overridden. I have submitted an updated version that will correctly warn you before saving a view in this dysfunctional condition. Should be available tomorrow sometime.
