I am using Rick Strahl's GOURL() function in a Visual FoxPro app to allow users to double click on a text box containg a url. This should call the GOURL() function passing the contents of the text box as a parameter. This works on my machine just fine. However, on some user's machines, nothing happens when they double click on the text box. I have even tried going to VFP's command window and entering ?GOURL('WWW.WEST-WIND.COM') . On the machines that it does not work on, GORUL() is returning 2.
Internet Explorer with all patches is installed on all machines. Why doesn't it work on some machines?
Thanks,
