Hiya Rich ---

You're right...I like the concept :-)

Again, I stress -- email me what you have (i486dx@prodigy.net NOT my default UT email) and I'll be more than happy to play with it.

>John thanks for the response. You'll like this one. I'm creating a networkable calendaring function much like Outlook. However, I need it to be networkable within my app. I have an appointment object which is added on the fly from the scheduling table to a Schedule Container object. The container object has a GRID on it and I use the grid to hold a CURSOR of the time slots for the calendar. You can then click on the Appt object much like Outlook and then drag it around on the Grid and drop it into a time slot. You can drop multiple Appointments into the same time slot. It displays 1 to 7 days of the week at once. Each Appointment can be for another item and is represented by a color bar on the left. You can click on the bottom bar and adjust the duration of the appointment on the fly.

>The problem is that I don't know what the time slots are unless I do an ActivateCell() and then that calls the AfterRowColumnChange. I don't have a problem when the user clicks into a cell. The problem is when the user clicks on the up and down scroller bars. You know that it moves one cell at a time when the user uses the Up/Dn arrows. However, when you click on the scroll bar above or below it causes problems in knowing how far it scrolled the grid. The real problem is whenever you click on the SLIDER BAR and move it around you don't know where it moved to.
