Hi All,

In my app, which uses the VFP _screen, I am using the graphical status bar to provide the user with various messages, prompts, etc. Two questions:

1. Has anyone else noticed that the "Insert Key" pane (the first pane in the status bar which reads OVR when the insert key is pressed) doesn't work in an app? It works fine in development mode....

2. Is there any global way to suppress the status bar text which shows the open table, database, recno, etc? I have SET TALK OFF. Every so often, the database info pops up. I have even gone so far as to put SET MESSAGE TO "" in MouseMove events....but that seems like a resource hit...and I still can't get all the events that cause the stoopid message to appear.

Any ideas?
