>Maybe next time Bill will post a classified ad in the newspaper and hope someone reads it and lets MSFT know.

ROFL!!!
Rod, you and JimB and a few others have done an excellent job putting Bill's revelation into the right light here. And I admire your efforts... but it seems those intent on wallowing in their own doom-and-gloom atitude are judging the effectiveness of their messages based on the length of threads that are generated. Personally, I think that's a very biased way to judge the supposedly worthwhile input since atleast half of the messages on these miserable threads are of the opposing opinion. And just like you, I try to avoid these sort of threads at all costs (yet still get sucked into it). But the thing that pulls me in is when I see the reputable names of the speakers & gurus like yourself on a response I just have read it. < g > Like I'm afraid I'm going to miss something.

So I have a suggestion for anybody who feels these negative/anti-fox threads do us no good as a whole. I propose a Virtual Doom-and-Gloom Strike! Why should we add fuel to the fire or even put forth any energy to stir the pot? Obviously some people just want to be negative and miserable no matter what. So if those of us who feel this sort of thing does nobody any good and refuse to read/respond/participate then the darn stuff wont live on forever and wont get as much attention. Plus the lack of reputable names on a thread will hurt that thread's credibility in some people's eyes.

So let the strike begin < bg >
