Hi -

I have a friend that is struggling to learn VFP. She feels that all the books she's seen concentrate on the visual and class aspects and spend very little time on how to construct the actual code. Since she is not just new to VFP, but also to programming itself, this is a big problem for her.

Locally, there are no VFP classes but she could take a Visual Basic or Visual C class at a community college. Or she is willing to purchase books, videos or other self-study materials.

Any ideas?
