I've been building an application that is used on an intranet with Web Connection on the back end. This particular app let's the user query against several fairly large tables for information. These tables include names, addresses, city, state, zip, etc. and I'm getting subsecond responses on tables with over 1.2 million records. However, I've been thinking it would be nice to take the selected addresses and dynamically build a hyperlink so the user could select one address, which would be passed to the WC server. Then I would like to look the selected address up in a "geofile" which is an address file which has exact address matches with x and y coordinates. I guess you can see where I'm going, I want to dynamically build a map, save it and return it in an html page. My initial thoughts are that I would use something like Mapinfo's mapx or something else. Has anyone already done this, or do you have any thoughts that might be beneficial towards me accomplishing my goal.
Thanks,
John Harvey
