I disagree. Not "too complex". And AFAIK there is no other way to avoid "String too long" error. Native Fox SQL or ADO - it doesn't matter. You should produce the long string from the smaller ones. If you deal with really large SQL statement it will be comfortable for you as well - to review small parts of your statement, won't it?
