Title:
Help with ocx in VFP 5
I have an existing app at a client’s site. I added a new form that uses the treeview control.
I followed the steps on article Q14621 “Register an ActiveX Control (.ocx) Manually”.
I copied comctl32.ocx, comctl32.dep and regsvr32.exe into the windows\system directory.
I registered the ocx using regsvr32.exe and received the message that it succeeded.
On one machine running win95 when I launch the form with the ocx on it I still get the ocx is not registered message, but on the other machines it runs fine.
I have found that the files mfc30.dll, mfc40.dll, olepro32.dll, msvcrt40.dll and msvcrt20.dll are in the registry on the machine that runs fine.
Is this part of the problem?
What am I missing?
