>>About 2 weeks ago I started getting an invalid page fault from windows explorer when I double click on my newly built vfp exe. I thought this was strange, but maybe I have something running that is conflicting in memory. I have since talked to one of the other programmers that works here and he indicated that he has been receiving the same invalid page fault for several weeks now. He does not remember it ever happening with VFP 5.0 only with VFP 6.0. I build my applicatins and compile my exes on a novell network and run them from a mapped drive. My collegue has been getting this error on a network as well as a local drive. We are not workig on the same project or the same code. But our concepts of a splash screen coming up before the main screen are the same. Has anyone else experienced this invalid page fault from windows explorer when double clicking on your exe?

I recently updated my intellipoint drivers from Microsoft (I finally remembered) about 1 month ago. From a microsoft email that indicated they had the current versions. Well I went into add remove programs and uninstalled it. Then I used my Gateway recovery CD to reinstall the version of the mouse driver that came with the machine. This seems to take care of the problem, at least it has not reared its ugly head since I did the reinstall. This is a lesson I guess for myself and others, which is why I posted it here. Thanks for your help.
