Hi Kevin,
I am having trouble creating a report using the Framework's report template. The report does not require any selection criteria. I created a view and browsed it to be sure it selected the records. Then I created a data environment based on my app's reportdataenvironment using the biz obj builder and added the view to it. I created a simple report with a page title and added a few fields in the detail band. Then, made changes to the reports DE Init() method as described in the Dev Guide. I added the report to repolist.dbf . Ran the app and selected 'Print Reports' . Everything works fine up till then. When I select my new report from the list and run it, the status bar displays the correct alias but also displays 'Record:None' and focus gets passed back to the select report dialog. Funny thing is that after spending 2 hours mucking around I decided to try it with the Proj Manager sample app and it did the same thing! I tried to create a simple list from the project.dbf using lv_project view and creating my own DE obj and my own report. Same results... The sample report shipped in the app runs fine but it does have a 'select project' dialog and view parameters set up. Any thoughts?? I am going to try and add a view parameter and dialog to my app's report after sending this message. But I really need to be able to create simple lists with no selection criteria. (P.S. when I drop the view directly into the report's DE it works fine! but i want to take advantage of the local/remote view change capability in the Framework)

Thanks
Ed Chin
