>>I connected to the Universal Thread earlier today and there were a ton of unread messages in the Visual Foxpro area (I hadn't connected for quite awhile). I only had time to read a few messages. Now I just connected again and all of the message have disappeared as if I have already read them. The only messages I see are new messages. How do I see the messages that are not new, but that I didn't read yet?

There are 2 aspects to this response where that may not apply to every one. ->
First: if you do not enter UT from
http://www.transformation.com/universa/ there is no check box available to click for "Previous Login" in the login screen view - this caught me a week or so ago after a browser crash and I was entering from
http://www.transformation.com/vfug/. I now always access UT only from
http://www.transformation.com/universa/ to be safe.
Second: If you are not a "Premier" subscriber, old messages can seen as an "indexed" reference but cannot be accessed to read. At least this has been my experience and is a great incentive to fully subscribe to UT which I fully intend to do as soon as I have saved the magnificent sum of $35.00. <g> (Nick, please note irony here. :))) ). Best. /psb.
