I've created a VFP DBC with 2 remote views in VFP 5.0 that point to an Access.mdb database. The conection string, when verified through the Remote View designer, functions correctly, however, whenever I open each view, I am presented with a Select Database dialog box. After selecting the mdb everything functions okay. Obviously, from the user's perspective, this is not acceptable.
Why doesn't VFP just open the view and know which database the view is based on? Did I miss something?
Any help would be appreciated.
