I am doing exactly what you suggest - as a matter of fact, the code redirects the NDIR to a text file, and then opens and analyzes the file. It places the files I'm interested in into a table, and deletes those that were not touched for more than 90 days.

I have the code at work - give me a hint about which parts you'd like to know about.
