>>Hello,
>>I've created a VFP DBC with 2 remote views in VFP 5.0 that point to an Access.mdb database. The conection string, when verified through the Remote View designer, functions correctly, however, whenever I open each view, I am presented with a Select Database dialog box. After selecting the mdb everything functions okay. Obviously, from the user's perspective, this is not acceptable.
>>Why doesn't VFP just open the view and know which database the view is based on? Did I miss something?

Thanks for rsponding Eric. The mdb is in the same directory as the other files and the .exe. I have no problem opening or using the other dbf's. I think it most be something else I haven't thought of. Any other ideas?

TIA

Barry
