There are a ton of OLE Automation solutions for VFP; the MSMAPI control is free, and comes with VFP. If you have Outlook, you can use Outlook as an OLE Automation client; John petersen did a series of articles on Outlook as an Automation client in VFP last summer/fall, and you can download the articles for ~ $5/each from Pinnacle's Wb site for FoxTalk (http://www.pinpub.com/foxtalk). Rick Strahl's IP stuff does a fine job of it; if you need more functionality than his free version supplies, his company West Wind offers a number of products. IDSMail is another commercial product which is easy to use and quite popular in the VFP world; so are the Mabry controls.
