I am trying to create a report using the Framework like the report in the sample app(ProjMgr). I set up a form that launches before printing and presents a combo box to the user and asks them to choose a selection criteria. The report gets launched from the REPORTFORM and REPOLIST.DBF that is built into the Framework. Everything works fine the first time. Here is the problem I am having.... After selecting from the combo box and previewing the report the first time I exit the report preview window and return to the REPORTFORM. I select the SAME report but I make a different choice from the combo box. When I click OK, the report that comes up shows records that match the FIRST selection criteria not the criteria I just selected. Oddly enough, if I release and rerun the REPORTFORM I can successfully run the report based on the second choice. If I rerun again without leaving REPORTFORM no matter what I choose in the combo box I get the same set of records that match the selection criteria from the very first time it was run. It looks like the view is not being refreshed/requeryed on subsequent runs. I made sure that AutoCloseTables=.T. in the report's DataEnv thinking that maybe the view was not being closed; but to no avail.
....Anybody have any thoughts on this???..... For right now I am releasing REPORTFORM as soon as the user exits from the report preview window and forcing them to re-select 'Print Reports' to print another report. I'd like to get it to work like the sample app tho'.
