When I save the connection, it still requires that I manually select the mdb. I must be forgetting something. Would appreciate any other ideas.

Make a connection string and put something like this in it:
DSN=BSD;DBQ=C:\EANDK\VB\BUSDEV.MDB
Where BSD is the ODBC data source and the c:\... is the path to your database.
