I managed to pull a dog-and-pony show for some VB developers a few years ago in VFP and they became VFP-knowledgeable and now use VFP and VB accordingly because they are now familiar with the capabilities of each and the strengths of each.
I think this is the central tenet to this whole thread: Non-VFP developers should be exposed to VFP
somehow as VFP is a superior tool to VB in almost all single-tier and most two-tier applications.
If VB is a hammer, VFP is a screwdriver, and there are an awful lot of developers out there trying to pound screws into a wall.
