Hi John ---

I believe that the last time there was a Fox to dBASE comparison ad was back when FP 2.6 was released....1993(?).

On a related note, how familiar are you with Access2000? I have a bad feeling about VFP's role in the future if the MS hype engine gets really going with Access2000 as a single-tier or two-tier solution (the SQL Server enhancements to Access2000 worry me).

>I think it is a total non-issue. When was the last time you saw head to head advertising pitting Fox against dBase. You may have to back to 1993. That said, what happens or not happens to VdB probably means squat as far as VFP is concerned.
