I am developing an application which uses a browse window within a screen containing other @..GETs using FPW2.6 and Stonefield AppMaker 2.6d. I currently have the F4 key setup to add a new item to the browse window and the F5 key setup to delete an item from the browse window. The problem I am experiencing is that when one of the OKLs, say F4, is pressed when invalid data is entered into one of the browse fields and has not been validated yet, I receive a "Record is not locked" error every time. This appears to be due to the fact that the browse window itself places a record lock on the currently edited record and the OKL code somehow causes this record lock to be removed (although there is no UNLOCK issued within the OKL code). I would like to prevent this error from occurring and, as always, any suggestions are much appreciated.
