Check thread 181728, 1/29/99, particularly Ed Rauh's message 181790. He talks about the usual cause being a file needed by the OCX which isn't on the computer causing problems.

>We have installed a new version of our vfp program to some customers and now there is the 0x80040154 "Class not Registered" popup. The curious thing is that this does not happen to all customers. The setup wizard has been in the development machine and we 've put the comctl32.ocx from the system dir of this machine to the directory from which setup reads the files.
