>I just found out to my supprise that I can't directly read the info in a DBC. I have been putting in all the comments, field captions etc. and thought that I would be able to create a prg that would read the records in the DATABASE and produce a report. The more pressing thing is I need to create a program to index-reindex all my tables. I know I can create a prg that will read the index tags etc in the existing tables and produce a prg but I was hoping to read the DBC directly to to this. Are there any functions I haven't found or am I stuck.

Firstly, you may run GenDbc to get database script with all indexes, etc. Also, you may use DBGetProp to inquire some particular property.
