I just found a great review of the beta I took for the 70-100 core in the new MCSD track. This is from MCP Magazine. IMHO, the author pretty much nailed this beta right on the head:

I had went looking for news on when the official exam was going to come out (so that I can finally get my score on the beta) and noticed they have a scheduled chat for this exam in April. Being that the beta exams put you under an NDA, seems plausible to me they must expect the official exam to be released by the time this April chat rolls around.
