NAFAIK. An OS doesn't know from records. How many users are using this system? It seems fraught with potential user conflict nightmares. Does each record get locked if someone is just scrolling thru the records? What if one form shows records from multiple tables? What if someone takes a call, while viewing a record...and someone else is trying to sell that 500,000 dollar chia pet? What if someone want's to look at a record to review some of the information then task-switches over to Word, and forgets about it? You've probably thought of all this, huh?

>Is there a way to make just the current record READ ONLY and then to test for that? I can only find doc on setting a TABLE as READ ONLY.
