You mean you put these messages on labels and buttons as well? :-) Boy! They must loooove you! But seriously, these edit boxes have a different background, so the user know (some do!) that they this cannot be changed. And add to that that the rest of the screen might be in another language (Dutch, French, etc ...), and then you'll understand why it is kind of not neat. Thanks and regards, Marc
