I tried the debug thing again, but there is no code in any of the refresh methods in any of the objects, or any of there parents. There is nothing to step through or into, it just executes the refresh call and continues on to the next line.

I used the class browser to look at all of the code modules together, and it again confirmed that there isn't any refresh method code anywhere to be seen.

Thanks for the idea though.
