I was having the same problem with new grids I was adding. Sometimes, Visual FoxPro was adding a column at the beginning and sometimes at the end.

No, this was not something in my grid object because, like I mentioned, the column was being added at design time when I was putting the grid object on my form.

I changed the ColumnCount property from -1 to 0.
