i have written a program that uses buffers and works well and now i want to use it on a peer to peer network.

How do i set up the programs so they run on each machine but access the database on only one machine?

i can get it to work but it starts by saying it can't find the database and then i tell where it is and it will run properly, but this way of starting the program does not seem right.
