>>Is there a way to easily produce a Directory Dialog Box to help a user direct where they want to save a file. I have buttons that allows the user to export the active database to an Excel file or an Access file, but I don't readily see a way to produce a Directory Dialog Box to let them pick from a directory tree where they want to save the file. Any thoughts?

Hi Bill,

The answer is yes, twice. Both GETFILE() and PUTFILE() (and some others) call the Common Dialogs DLL. Additionally, the Common Dialogs ActiveX control also ships with VFP. It's the same as the one VB uses.
