I am trying to figure out how to allow field objects in the report designer to be truncated solely based on the width of the field instead of truncating based on the last word.

As an example, if I have a field object that will display a maximum of 10 characters and the data being displayed is one word that is 12 characters long, it truncates and displays 10 characters. If the data being displayed is 2 words that are each 6 characters long with a space in between, it only displays the first word.

Is there any way around this or is this the way VFP 5.0 does it?
