Mark ---

If it's a NULL, means there is no record to update, means you have an update conflict :-)

You're not going to be able to change NULL information from the right table with a LEFT JOIN query without a mechanism to append a record with matching keys but that goes beyond what you can do in the Command Window.

>I have a view with Left Join. Left table has a record but right table does not. So I see some fields with data some with .NULL. I type in and then try to update and a message 'Update conflict' pops up. Both tables have key fields. What I am doing wrong?
