I REALLY appreciate everyone's help. Yes, my computer has been doing a lot of disk-swapping...probably will need a new HD while I'm at it! Maybe MS should include the following instruction in VFP:

IF !(24 Megs RAM) THEN

MESSAGEBOX ('Memory shortage, Do NOT use!)

ENDIF
QUIT

Have a good evening!
