I will try adding the alias to the TABLEUPDATE command and see if that helps. I don't have anything in the DE. I have the USE myTable IN 0 SHARED command before the table buffer setup command in the Init of the Form. I am using a value of 2 for the buffering. Which I think has to do with record processing.

Do think it would help to set buffering with CURSORSETPROP() as Erik Moore mentioned? I have been doing it the way the MS VFP Help Example shows only using a '2', instead of a '5'. I have never tried CURSORSETPROP without parameters.
