My take on Nancy's advice, which I agree with:
Get the durn thing outta the Init of the form and into the DataEnvironment. Set the Buffermode override property to Opt. Row or Table buffering and fuggedaboutit.

I have the USE myTable IN 0 SHARED command before the table buffer setup command in the Init of the Form. I am using a value of 2 for the buffering. Which I think has to do with record processing.
