Did you specify in all your contracts that your programs will stop working properly on 31/12/99?, or do you let your user enter 4 digit centuries, and even then I guess the 29/02/00 will still be a problem won't it? And who will _you_ sue, you who are using Foxpro that, and I quote (with tears in my eyes from laughter) "operates in the manner indicated by the manual".

In this case, the planiff's attorneys didn't even have their facts straight in the original complaint. The first things that caught my eye were:

1. Microsoft did not purchase Fox Software...they merged. Legally, there is a big difference.
2. Last time I checked, Microsoft is a Delaware Corporation, not Washington.
3. The data entry arguement is silly.

I quit reading the complaint at that point.
