The reason I asked, is that I had to do a grid.setfocus() followed immediately by a return to the previous control on one occasion to solve a similar grid problem. Klutzy, but as it turned out the client LIKED having the grid 'light up' with the new record for an instant. Said it helped her focus her attention. When I removed the visible change with LockScreen she protested.
