I wish it was as simple as that,

Using a VFP form as a desktop has some numerous minor drawbacks or BUGS which you have to know before you make a major decission like that. For instance, You'll have some problems to implement the preview feature rigth. There also are some known problems with releasing menus and forms, and some bug when closing the app.

I maybe a better solution if you add a timer to your application object and check once or twice in a second if the screen has resized, and if it did take the proper actions.
