Again, if you are running NT and check the task list, do you still see the Excel object in the running processes? If you're running W95 or98, and you press CTRL-ALT-DEL, do you still see an Excel object after running your code?

Just by releaseing MyExcel, you are not shutting down the application. You are just releasing the VFP object reference. You probably need something like a MyExcel.Quit (or similar).
