Hiya George, Ed, et al....
As the midwife(?) of this mess, allow me to straighten this out. The original concept of a developer's association, in my mind, is to do the following:
1) Duplicate existing MS case studies in VFP and disseminate them.
2) Be alerted to worthy VFP apps and create press releases on them.
3) Guarantee, somehow, the professionalism of VFP developers.
4) Work WITH MS to evangelize VFP to attract new developers and clients.
See? NO witchhunt...never intended and it would be folly. I have no axe to grind with MS or anything/anyone else. I am concerned that it's been seen that way. The simple version of goals is to make the IT decision makers aware of the quality of the tool and those whp use it. That's IT. That's why I put "the brakes" on after seeing the hysteria whipped up. We don't need this psychosis....but I do think we need to "round the wagons" somewhat.
