Maybe, with a little luck - depends a whole lot on the application - you can continue to use/display only 2-digit years, saving you all that additional trouble. This might make your fixup code a tad more complex, but it maight payoof given what you write here.

>If set century is off it assumes the 20th century. Jim Nelson pointed out to me that this is plainly set forth in the documentation but I obviously do not recall seeing it. Of course, there are fixes to the problem - I just need to recode the 75 or so screens that have dates in them and go over the approx 500 reports and respace everything. Then I have to give this code to the approximately 1000 users who are no longer on support and who may potentially sue us. I probably can squeeze this in sometime next week without seriously moving the VFP project any further behind than the 6 months it already is. My mama always told me I should have gone to Law School.
