Mr. Tang,

Thank you for your reply. When I'm comparing you answer and the documentation in VFP 5.0, there are some areas which are comflict.

Below is the help from VFP under the remarks section of SQLEXEC :-

SQLEXEC( ) returns the number of result sets if there is more than one. SQLEXEC( ) returns 0 if it is still executing and returns 1 when it has finished executing. SQLEXEC( ) returns –1 if a connection level error occurs.

What happen, if SQLEXEC returns 0(still executing and not sure will get the result or not).
