Tim,
AFAIK it's a warning and not error message. When a transaction is in effect, a user modifies some records, and others do not have read nor write access to those records till user ends transaction (end tr. or rollback). They would get that warning message. Check your code for "begin transaction". Try to place it somewhere that would keep the lock time minimum (ie:just for saving).
