Eric,

I have used an older version of Crystal through VFP via a VB activeX control. I found that the ActiveX control that Crystal supplied didn't have all of the functionality/control that I needed, so I needed to use the functions available in the CRPE.DLL (Crystal Reports Print Engine). The problem was that not all of the data types I needed to pass as paramters were easily done in VFP. I found that writing a simple VB activeX control that made all of the DLL calls for me was a good way of going about it. The newer version of Crystal may have an improved activeX control, so this may not be neccessary.

Hope that gives you some helpful info.
