I am absolutely sure that I am selecting the "Build EXE" button. My status bar says "build project", then "build app", then a vfp messagebox says "file does not exist". look in explorer and an app was created, my exe was not rebuilt.

when you build an exe does your status bar say "build application" or "build executable"? I have done it 1 million times, but never paid attention before.
