I think that we are confusing M$ & FPA. FPA does the whole job and M$ just gets some enginners to show up as well as Mr. Green.

Location does suck for this year.

Putting the location of DEVCON to a hub is also a bit pollitical. Who's HUB? My frequent flyer miles are based on Northwest. They have a hub here in Memphis, Detroit, and Minneapolis. But if you are a United, or Delta traveler you get no "hub" savings from those cities.

It's up to Advisor Pub and oly them. They have to get a rate and pack in the bodies for 3 or 4 conferences back to back. They do more than just VFP. So Advisor finds their best rates on a month of meeting rooms as well as hotel rooms to accomidate up to 2000 people per week.

Granted that this year VFP will be a bust, I too cannot just take off for non profound DevCons. Give me a NEW version or functionality just released because of a fix to ADO and I might get to go.
